Appropriations is a peer-reviewed research journal with the ISSN 0975-1521 published annually by the Dept of English (UG & PG), Bankura Christian College, Bankura, West Bengal, India, since 2005. A trusted academic journal by academicians and research scholars, Appropriations has been running successfully ever since its inception without compromising academic merit and standards of excellence. It mostly encompasses issues and discourses not restricted to specific areas and in 2018, a special issue was published with articles contributed by the former and present students of the Department. The journal has already gained national and international acclaim and the Department hopes to promote and augment its standard to a larger extent in the subsequent issues.
